It’s hard to believe there are only a few days left in July! With summer soon coming to an end and kiddos going back to school, it’s the perfect time to take a moment and recharge before the craziness of fall starts. Last Friday we were blissfully treated to a day at Eau Spa at the EAU Palm Beach Resort & Spa (formerly The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach), and let us tell you, it was divine. While we have visited the spa for many special occasions, this was the royal treatment.
Eau Spa is chic, glamorous and very Palm Beach
If you haven’t been, you must first know how chic and glamorous Eau Spa is, with playful touches around every corner. It exudes Palm Beach elegance with damask wallpaper, etched-glass mirrors, eclectic furniture, wood floors, marble baths and sheer drapes. Throughout the spa, you will find cheeky elements, like extra large rubber duckies in the Jacuzzi, a disco ball in the steam room and the word “EAU” frequently used.
Making a wish in the Wishing Well is a must
The Eau Spa focuses your entire experience on pause, play or perfect. Upon arrival, spa-goers are invited to make a wish in the Wishing Well that combines earth, air, fire and water elements. Then, indulge in the DIY Scrub and Polish Bar by choosing one of their signature scrubs or customizing one of your own.

After picking your potion, an attendant will whisk you to the lounge, where you leave your worries behind and slip into a plush robe and sandals for your stay. From here, you can “pause” in the Self-Centered Garden – a tropical oasis with cabanas, dipping pools and swinging chairs, “play” in the Bath Lounge – a Jacuzzi with an overhead waterfall and oversized rubber duckies or “perfect” in the sauna or steam shower.
Eau Spa treatments are a little slice of heaven
Their award-winning spa treatments focus on personalizing your “me time” around pause, play or perfect through scents, colors and music. “Pause” treatments include lavender and mint scents, blue color therapy and chill music. “Play” treatments feature citrus and eucalyptus scents, red color therapy and upbeat music. “Perfect” treatments offer ginger and vanilla scents, gold color therapy and stimulating music.
