One of the best ways to experience Downtown West Palm Beach is by spending a Saturday morning at the West Palm Beach GreenMarket. Each Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm through May 20th, the waterfront is bursting with local vendors featuring fresh fruits, vegetables, plants and agricultural products, as well as other special finds. We recently spent the morning wandering through a few of the delicious vendors, enjoying the flowers, produce and our absolute favorite, Cider Doughnuts! Come along to see why we love the GreenMarket, as well as a few other gems in the area, and how we wore our new Lands’ End Cover-ups!
Lands’ End’s Drawcord Shirtdress and Cotton Slub Cover-up are so light and colorful for a warm day in the Florida sunshine. We love the bright hues and relaxed fit for strolling outside.
After perusing the market, we walked over to West Palm’s hottest juicery and cafe, The Bee. The full cafe serves the finest organic and vegan creations including delicious organic cold pressed juices and smoothies made on site. On this morning, we tried Citrus Love {made from orange, grapefruit, lemon, ginger and turmeric} and Pure Green {made from celery, cucumber, parsley, spinach, lemon and green apple}. For a complete bee experience, don’t miss their yoga studio, “a space of inspiration, relaxation and exploration” and special events.
A few doors down from The Bee and part of the same family of restaurants is the famous E.R. Bradley’s. This waterfront restaurant has been around for 30 years and is open 365 days a year from 8 am to 3 am! In the daytime families love to brunch and celebrate special occasions here, and in the evening it turns into a popular watering hole.
We couldn’t leave Downtown West Palm Beach without walking down to the docks on Flagler Drive. These public docks are a great way to take in views of both Palm Beach and West Palm Beach – hello yachts! – and are free to use for non-commercial boats.
If you would like to first-hand experience Lands’ End’s new swim collection and Downtown West Palm Beach, the Lands’ End Getaway Swim Tour will be popping up at the Palm Beach Boat Show next weekend from Thursday, March 26th to Sunday, March 29th. Their traveling Beach House will be stocked with their beautiful swimwear collections, private fitting rooms, fashion stylist Melance Pace to give style tips, and a relaxing upper sun deck. The first 100 attendees will receive a complimentary VIP gift tote valued at more than $75, and there is still time for everyone to enter the 2015 Getaway Tour Sweepstakes that includes a trip for two to the British Virgin Islands and more!
** Please note the GreenMarket will be closed for the Palm Beach Boat Show, but will reopen the following weekend.
