Travel: Aloha 40 Birthday at The Islands of Islamorada

We recently headed back to The Islands of Islamorada to celebrate my brother-in-law’s 40th birthday Aloha 40 style. We have spent a few special moments at The Islands of Islamorada including my 40th birthday, here and here.

We had an ocean side dinner under the tiki hut with our favorite shrimp boil by Captain Shannon. We used Keys Audio Party Rentals for the table, chairs, bamboo silverware and plates. The flowers were from Floral Fantasy in Lindroth cane vases and I brought the napkins, Lindroth glasses and chargers.

The Islands of Islamorada is an amazing property with the beach, pool, tiki bar, pickle ball, fire pit and more right outside your door. They have 23 rental houses and 8 rooms with the most luxurious, bedding, towels and bath products. This trip we really utilized the property’s amenities and hung out at the pool/hot tub and beach and went paddleboarding and kayaking.

We had the shrimp boil on property and the other two nights we went to Pierre’s and Kaiyo Sushi. For lunch we did take out from Bayside Gourmet and Bad Boy Burrito. We also had in home massages coordinated by The Islands of Islamorada and swam with the dolphins at Theater of the Sea, which was so fun!
