We are delighted to bring you a newly updated Guide to Palm Beach! Since our last version in 2019, the island has welcomed a variety of refreshing new shops and restaurants. Come along with us to see our latest favorites, as well as classic spots that never go out of style!
Where to stay
Palm Beach is a fun-loving island with some really fabulous places to stay! Each spot is unique and has a lot to offer, depending on what kind of experience you would like. Our two favorite accommodations are an iconic luxury resort and a stylish boutique hotel that is home to our Sisters Suite. You can read more about why we love these two options below!
The Breakers: This iconic luxury resort has held a special place in our hearts since we were children. Their amenities and customer service exceed expectations, and they are continually improving their property. Some of our favorite things to do at The Breakers include staycations, family beach and pool days, spa experiences, special celebrations at their restaurants and venues, golf tournaments, and tennis matches!
Location: One South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480
Contact: 877.724.3188 / website / @thebreakers
The Colony Hotel: The island’s most stylish boutique hotel recently transformed their lobby into “The Living Room” with custom, hand painted de Gournay wallpaper and coordinating furnishings thanks to the vision of the talented owner, Sarah Wetenhall, and Kemble Interiors. Other recent updates include our exciting new Sisters Suite by Serena & Lily x Palm Beach Lately, the Coral Ballroom, Swifty’s Pool restaurant, and beach service!

A few other hotels that we also love on the island include The Brazilian Court, The Chesterfield, Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, and the Four Seasons Palm Beach!
Where to eat
The island is bursting with delicious restaurants for family and friends to experience together! There are classic spots that we will always love, as well as some exciting new restaurants that are instant hits. Whether you desire a salad, sandwich, pasta, seafood, sushi, a burger, tacos, or more, you will certainly find the perfect place to dine at below!
Buccan: If you are visiting Palm Beach, you must go to Buccan! We have been regulars here since they opened in 2011 thanks to Chef Clay Conley who always creates a mix of old faves and new flavors in a lively environment. Their Tuna Crips, Warm Brussels Sprouts “Caesar”, Short Rib Empanadas, and Sweet Corn Agnolotti are just a few of our faves. We also love their sister sushi spot, Imoto, and delish Sandwich Shop – both located next door!
Location: 350 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480

Cucina Palm Beach: Cucina Palm Beach is a legend on Palm Beach, and they recently re-opened with a completely new interior design and a dazzling new space and menu! Their sophisticated-meets-eclectic design perfectly compliments their cuisine, and we can’t stop raving about Chef John Kent’s Ahi Tacos, Avocado and Prosciutto Bruschetta, Fried Oysters, Citrus and Beets Salad, Hollywood Cobb, Chicken Milanese, Mussels, and Pizza!
Location: 257 Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach, FL 33480

La Goulue: In 2020, Palm Beach welcomed La Goulue, the sister restaurant of their happening New York City location. This classic French bistro has brought a much-needed breath of fresh air to the corner of Royal Palm Way and South County Road thanks to their scalloped awnings, bistro seating and open-air dining experience. While everything we have tasted is delicious, we especially love their Ahi Tuna, Burrata Salad, Chef Selection of Cheeses, and Steamed Mussels with French Fries. It is also a lovely spot for brunch!
Location: 288 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480

LoLa 41: One of the newer and most fabulous restaurants, LoLa 41, is located in the also new White Elephant Hotel! We first dined at their sister restaurant on Nantucket and are so excited to welcome this gem to Palm Beach. LoLa’s menu and design is influenced by the countries and regions along the 41st parallel and some of our favorite choices from their menu include the Tuna Tartare, Cantonese Style Pork Pot Sticks, Maruko Sushi Roll, and Macaroni and Cheese.

Sant Ambroeus: If you are looking for Palm Beach’s most romantic restaurant, we highly recommend Sant Ambroeus! This delicious Italian restaurant is our favorite for al fresco lunches under umbrellas, fancy dinners in the dining room, and quick bites in the café. Our usual lineup includes Chef Marco Barbisotti’s Artichoke Salad, followed by Bolognese or Chicken Paillard, and finished with a housemade dessert or scoop of gelato!

Via Flagler by The Breakers: The Breakers recently debuted their gorgeous new Via Flagler on Royal Poinciana Way. Named after The Breakers’ founder, Henry Morrison Flagler, this new lifestyle destination features delicious dining and shopping like Henry’s Palm Beach, Main Street and SHAN. Our favorite dishes at Henry’s include Pigs in Pretzel Dough Blanket, Quinoa Greek Salad, Tavern Salad, and Panko Crusted Chicken Sandwich.

On the island, we also love Palm Beach Grill and The Honor Bar for classic comfort food, Le Bilboquet for chic French cuisine, Renato’s for Italian, Echo for sushi, HMF at The Breakers for small bites and cocktails, Meat Market for steak, Pizza al Fresco for family pizza night, Seafood Bar at The Breakers for seafood, and Surfside Diner for comfort food.
Where to shop
From shopping destinations like The Royal to the quaint vias off Worth Avenue and fabulous local spots sprinkled in between, there is a boutique for everyone on the island!
The Royal – When The Royal Poinciana Plaza completed their total makeover a couple of years ago, we instantly fell in love! There is simply no shopping destination like it, and we are constantly singing its praises. We love bouncing around and shopping their hand selected boutiques that are located throughout the open air plaza. And to complete the perfect day, we like to stop for refreshments at one of their six “sip + nibble” spots!
Our favorite boutiques include LoveShackFancy for beautiful women’s and children’s clothing and accessories, Stoney Clover for the cutest personalized bags and accessories, Kirna Zabête for luxury women’s fashions, Beach by Everything but Water for women’s swimsuits, Orlebar Brown for men’s swimsuits, Assouline for gorgeous coffee table books, Bognar and Piccolini for luxury children’s clothing, Hermés and Saint Laurent for fine fashion, and Roller Rabbit for block-print clothes and home goods.
N. and S. County Road – On the east side of the island running along N. and S. County Road is a great selection of unique shops and boutiques. It has a true local vibe that includes surf shops, fashion stores, island housewares, luxury linens, antiques and more!
Serena & Lily: Serena & Lily is one of our very favorite coastal home stores, and we were ecstatic when they opened their Design Shop right here in Palm Beach in 2o19! Their rattan furniture, luxurious bedding, entertaining pieces, bathroom linens, and outdoor furniture are just a few of our favorites from their home collections that inspire us year after year. We also loved partnering with Serena & Lily on the Sisters Suite at The Colony Hotel!
Location: 101 North County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480

P.B. Boys Club: Part surf shop, part prep shop, and a little bit of everything in between, P.B. Boys Club has been the popular spot on the island since 1993! Owners Rick, Jodi and her sister, Jamie, always stock the store with the latest sunny goodies like colorful swimsuits, surfboards, skateboards, sporting goods, and lots of other fun stuff. We vividly remember coming here as kids and can’t believe we are now bringing our own kids here, too!

P.B. Girls Club and Aristokids: The sister store of P.B. Boys Club, P.B. Girls Club and Aristokids, was the first of Jodi and Rick’s two stores to open on S. County Road back in 1988! For thirty years, they have taken pride in their family owned and operated boutique that features women’s and children’s bathing suits, clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories. It’s the perfect family-friendly shop to stop by on your way to the beach!

The Kemble Shop: The Kemble family has called Palm Beach home for more than 120 years, and mother-daughter-duo, Mimi and Celerie, have a beautiful eye for interior design. Their unique style captures the whimsical, island vibe and some of our favorite projects by Kemble Interiors include Playa Grande Beach Club in the Dominican Republic, The Gasparilla Inn in Boca Grande, FL, and the recent makeover here at The Colony Hotel. You can also shop their latest beautiful finds at their fabulous boutique, The Kemble Shop!

A few other shops we love in this area are Skinny Dip , Julia Amory, and Asha for women’s styles, Lori Jayne for monogrammed and luxury housewares, C.Orrico for preppy styles, and Lycette Designs for the best needlepoint shop!
Worth Avenue – Worth Avenue has been a shopper’s paradise dating all the way back to the 1920s! Lined with palm trees and colorful awnings, the iconic avenue is home to luxury department stores, high fashion brands, newly launched lines, and the cutest boutiques!
We also love Aerin, Bonpoint, J.McLaughlin, LaMuse Jewelers, Leta Austin Foster, Lilly Pulitzer, Maus & Hoffman, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Stubbs & Wootton.

On the island, there are lots of fun things to do! See some of our favorite activities below!
