I shared our Living Room update a few months ago <here> and I have been excited to finish the Family Room now that that was complete. When were looking for our couch years ago, I really wanted a grey velvet one. When I found the perfect one at Arhaus, I am so thankful for the tidbit the saleswoman gave me! She said buy the microfiber it looks just like velvet, will weather better and you can wipe off spills. I wish I could go back and hug that lady after years of baby bottles, snacks, wine, etc. because the couch still looks like new! The main pieces we already had in the room were the couch, rug, acrylic console, tufted coffee table <similar here> and TV console <I shared the DIY floating console here>.
I recently had The Painted Ox refurbish two stools with a blush fabric and I am absolutely in love with them! They are the perfect pop of blush and go well with the Palm No. 1 print from Stephanie Sterjovski’s SS Print Shop that Framebridge framed. If you haven’t used them before they are amazing! I sent the print, selected the frame online and they sent back this beautifully framed print. And the best part is the frame is rose gold!
Our friends from Luxe Report Designs helped bring in the rattan and palm touches, like the rattan mirror we recently featured <here>, rattan tray, plant baskets, palm leaf catchall, candle, raffia baskets and assorted books. They also created the assortment of white vases on the floating console from Frontgate and West Elm mixed with shells.
I do not have a green thumb, so when these bird of paradise plants started sprouting new leaves I did a happy dance lol! Stay tuned for Danielle’s home update and we will be taking over @liketoknow.it.home next Monday, so be sure to follow along!
