Danielle and I recently visited Dr. Ashley Paré, owner of Seaside Dentistry in Jupiter, to get started with Invisalign! We have been thinking about it for years because with age and after pregnancies both of our bottom teeth have started to crowd.
Her office is like walking into a friend’s living room with blue palm wallpaper, driftwood console, Harbour Island photography and a warm, welcome by the receptionist.
The Invisalign process included an initial consult with a quick and easy wand camera that took pictures of our teeth. She was then able to give a digital impression of our mouths to see what our bite and smile would look like in a matter of minutes. We then followed up with an appointment for the small white attachments and received our trays. We will switch out our trays every two weeks and a quick appointment every 5 weeks for her to check she likes the way the teeth are looking.
Dr. Ashley Paré gave us the cutest PBL zip pouches from Stoney Clover with the Invisalign essentials including floss, tray spray, lip balm and case for Invisalign trays. The sweetest gift and I carry mine around in my purse everyday now!
Danielle has decided to hold off starting the series of trays until after the baby arrives, but I have been wearing mine the suggested number of hours a day for a little more than two weeks now. My treatment plan is about 7 months because I am fixing my bite in addition to the crowding. I am also using a teeth whitener product with my trays. Danielle’s treatment will be approximately 4 month to fix her lower bite crowding. Can’t wait to keep you posted along our Invisalign journey and feel free to ask any questions you might have!
Thank you Dr. Ashley Paré, Seaside Dentistry and Invisalign for partnering on this post!
