Since we have been spending more time at home over the last few months, I had some time to update a few pieces in our house. When we first bought our house years ago, I started to decorate with a lot of black and white pieces. While I still love class black and white, I wanted to add in a bit more rattan and mint. For the kitchen table, I chose these Sunwashed Riviera Dining Chair from Serena & Lily to go with our existing white, round table. I love the durability and ease of these chairs.
I recently saw these adorable lemon napkin rings from The Avenue by Lindsey Zorich and thought they were the perfect addition a fun summer breakfast tablescape. I also got these bamboo forks, rattan carafe and blush pink napkins from Shop the Avenue and paired them with Serena & Lily’s Round Rattan Placemats. I’ve been loving clipping palms from outside and picking up fruit like pineapples and lemons to decorate the table. And I love when you score peonies at Whole Foods!
In the dining room, I had bought sconces before really knowing what direction I would go. I saw these rattan sconces on Serena & Lily and they were just what I was looking for to swap out the old ones! The Santa Barbara Drum Sconce is currently on sale too!
I am really happy with the mix of mint, rattan, shells and palms in the dining room. I am looking forward to being able to entertain again soon and have family and friends around the table.
Our friend and photographer, Drew Doggett Photography, gifted us this beautiful ocean print and I have been wanting to add a bench like the Shore Bench from Serena & Lily and an assortment of pillows.
I mixed a few Serena & Lily pillows – the Isla Embroidered Pineapple Pillow, Seabreeze Palm Pillow Cover and Isla Pineapple Printed Pillow.
In my master bathroom, I updated my vanity with some palms, pink and rattan with the Avalon Rattan Stool, a wicker tray, pink and white stripe towels and white palm. I went back and forth on whether to trim the existing mirrors or take them down and add a mirror like the Balboa Rattan Mirror. I decided to do the Balboa Rattan Mirror in Grace’s bathroom and trim my the mirrors with white wood. We have three large mirrors between our his and hers sides and Teddy from Property Solutions did a beautiful job! The last detail is swapping out the old lighting and would love to swap it out for the Everett Two-Arm Sconce.
I was in need of some new towels and chose the Beach Club Bath and Hand Towels with the Healdsburg Bath Mat in Pink Sand for a classic cabana stripe look. This was also the perfect place for my new art, the Clementine Print by Gal Meets Glam’s Julia Berolzheimer and her sister Lauren Taylor Creates. I had it framed in the gold bamboo frame from Framebridge.
Thank you Serena & Lily for partnering on this post!
