Home: Beth's Baby Sprinkle

Last weekend my sister and friends threw me a Baby Sprinkle to celebrate Baby E’s upcoming arrival in The Colony’s recently renovated ballroom! It was a mix of blush pink, palms, shells and rattan inspired by her nursery.

Guests were greeted with The Palm by Whispering Angel rosé in monogrammed cups and napkins from Monogram Mary and pink and white striped straws and pink umbrellas from our rattan bar cart.

The tablescape included chiavari chairs, linens, blush pink glassware, gold trim linens and silverware from Atlas Event Rentals. The centerpieces were a mix of beautiful roses, ranunculus and orchids from O.A.P.B. Design in rattan hurricane vases and scallop orchid baskets from Amanda Lindroth. We also mixed in a blush pink ginger gar from Lauren Haskell Designs and white canvas palms from Matilda’s with ceramic white birds and shells.

A Lovely Little Party created the invitation inspired by her nursery mural, including the menu card, favor hang tag, wishes for Baby E card and thank you card.

Southern Belle’s Cakery made the most delicious lemon cake and it was served on costume plates we had made on Zazzle.com.

The Colony served guests a green salad with tomato, cucumber, olive, onion with champagne vinaigrette followed by a breakfast trio of bacon and egg sandwich, spinach, roast red pepper and goat cheese quiche, and cereal crusted french toast.

Each guest received a pair of our favorite rattan and bone earrings from St. Armand’s Designs. And our friend, Alex, at The Colony gave each guest the yummiest pineapple and flamingo cookie.
