Last week, we snuck away from the kids for a few hours to go for a boat ride around Palm Beach. Earlier this year, my <Danielle’s> husband, Jason, started selling boats with HMY Yachts under the Instagram handle @YachtsLately, so we thought it would be fun to take one of his new yacht listings, “Dream On,” for a spin before he sells it. Come along today as we share everything we love about this beautiful boat and some pretty neat shots of it, too!
On this warm summer day, we packed up some goodies in our picnic basket and towels in our tote and headed to the HMY docks located near the northern bridge of Palm Beach. The sky was so blue that it nearly matched the fresh “Bahama Blue” hull paint color on the side of the boat. We met our hubbies on the dock, and they helped us board “Dream On” and get settled while they got the boat running with the gracious boat captain.
Jason grew up on boats, fishing and spearfishing since he was a little kid, so working with boats is the perfect fit for him. We have also been on lots of boats since we were kids, but riding on this boat was by far the smoothest ride yet. We didn’t feel a single bump in the Intracoastal and it handled the waves so well through the inlet and in the ocean. We kept saying how perfect this boat is for families and how much the kids would have loved it!
While talking with Jason, we learned that this 2005 61′ Viking Sportfish is one of Viking’s most popular models ever made. It has three staterooms and extensive updates and upgrades like all new Garmin Electronics, cockpit mezzanine seating, and a custom extra large salon window to name a few. It’s the perfect family boat that is clean and crisp and can easily be used either for cruising with the kids or doing world-class sport fishing!
While out in the ocean, we toasted to Jason’s new venture and took some cool drone shots with Josh from Blue Lens Aeriel. We absolutely love them, especially the one from above. And because everyone loves a good deal, Jason is excited to announce a recent $50K price reduction on “Dream On” making it currently listed at $899K! Such great news that this motivated seller is ready to make this beautiful boat less of a dream and more of a reality!
