Today is a very special day for us because we are launching the preorder of our limited edition PBL x EWD “Mommy and Me” capsule collection with Elizabeth Wilson Designs! We were first introduced to Elizabeth a year ago and instantly fell for her sweet southern spirit and statement designs. When we recently had an idea for a small collection of stylish mommy and me pieces, we knew Elizabeth was the perfect gal to partner with. We are so excited to share this special collection and the inspiration behind the collaboration with you today!
For the PBL x EWD collection, we blended our love for summery fashion with our love for family to create a fresh, modern twist on classic styles for moms and daughters. We designed the sunny pieces to be worn all summer long to barbecues, picnics, showers, weddings, on vacations and more. On this day, we wore them to one of our favorite Palm Beach spots, The Colony Hotel. We love their backyard, umbrellas and bikes so much!
Now for the designs… the first one is this two-piece gingham crop top and skirt set that was inspired by the iconic Jackie-O <we even had fun recreating her poolside pic!>. We have wanted to create an updated version of this for a long time, and our new design features a fitted crop top with a gold zipper down the back and the perfect pleated skirt!
This style comes in our three favorite colors: pink, mint and yellow. Beth and I kept switching between pink and yellow, and Elizabeth looks so beautiful in the mint color. This outfit looks great with espadrilles or heels and is available in sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL.
The kids had a blast playing with some fresh fruit while they were wearing their matching gingham dresses and gingham bowtie. The gingham pieces for kids also come in pink, mint and yellow and the dresses are available in sizes 2T, 4T, 6, 8, 10!
The second style is this pink linen shift dress with the cutest ruffle neckline and bow belt seen here on Elizabeth. It looks adorable with a pair of espadrilles, wicker clutch and statement earrings. This style comes in pink and is available in sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL.
The last style is this pink striped midi dress with matching little girl dress on Beth and Grace. It has the cutest bows on the straps and white buttons down the front. It’s so easy, breezy and looks great with pink bow sandals and sunnies. This midi dress comes in pink and white stripes and is available in sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL and 2T, 4T, 6, 8 and 10.
