Danielle and our friend Ashleigh of Liza McKay co-hosted an al fresco dinner party with strung lights and candlelight to celebrate the reveal of my baby girl. I’ve always loved mini dwarf pineapples and have used them in centerpieces for client events in the past, so they were a must for the dinner party. I also love the saying “you are the pineapple of my eye” as a play on “you are the apple of my eye” and thought the mini pineapples paired with the saying was the perfect theme and a cute way to celebrate our little baby. We started with the print from Have a Laugh on Etsy for the invite and had custom napkins created by Party Paper Presents on Etsy. Mini pineapples are hard to find this time of year, but we were able to order from Amazon Flowers and attached place cards from Blush by Grotto Paper on Etsy.
For the table, TentLogix graciously donated rentals and we used pineapple wrapping paper by Perro Paper available in our online shop for the table runner. Guests drank from acrylic stemless pineapple wine glasses that are a product of ours in collaboration with Daw’lens, and the girls later took them home as their party favor with pineapple straws from Paper Trail by Laura B on Etsy. I’ve seen pineapples as centerpieces but not gold ones, so we had Creations Production design them. These could easily be a DIY project with a little gold spraypaint and cutting out the center to hold the flowers. We also spraypainted pink yard flamingos gold that were in the grass near the table and pineapples to float in the pool when guests arrived.
