If you follow us on Instagram, you know that Beth recently spent time in the DC area and was so lucky to go to the hot concert of the summer, Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour! She even went backstage and met Taylor and raved about what a gorgeous girl she is, both inside and out. Taylor is talented, stylish and super sweet to her fans – it’s no wonder she’s on top of the world!
If you’re heading to Taylor Swift’s concert or have another artist you’d like to see, you must try one {or all!} of our 5 Summer Concert Essentials! From crop tops to gladiator sandals, you don’t want to miss these trends – and don’t worry, these pieces will be around from summer well into fall. So read below to see how to try these pieces so you look and feel extra hip at your fave summer concert!! xo
1. crop top – crop tops are everywhere this summer, and we can’t get enough of this cute look! A white crop top is a versatile piece that can be paired with shorts for a hot summer day or with a skirt for a night on the town. You can go for a fitted one for a sleek look or a loose, ruffly one for more cover. Click here to see some of our favorite crop tops!
2. red lipgloss – red lipgloss can be intimidating, but Urban Decay’s High-Color Lipgloss in shade 69 is the perfect shade and coverage for beginners like us! We have been playing around with this new product and are loving all 14 shades. A bright pop of lipgloss is a great inexpensive way to spice up an otherwise simple outfit!
3. sunglasses – everyone needs a new pair of sunnies for the summer and this year we are rocking these tortoise ones from Tory Burch! We recently when to a blogger lunch that visited Tory Burch’s Worth Avenue store and the majority of bloggers agreed that this pair of sunnies was so flattering for all of our face shapes!
4. gladiator sandal – we love gladiator sandals and there are so many cute ones in stores, but this pair by Rebecca Minkoff is our absolute favorite! The chic, mid-rise style comes in blush and black and will definitely transition well from summer into fall.
5. inko’s iced tea – summer is really heating up and we like to toss a bottle of Inko’s iced tea in our bags for a refreshing drink on the go, like when Beth saw Taylor! We are pretty health conscious, so we love that this white tea is a Non-GMO, USDA organic recipe with less sugar and calories than most brands. Whole Foods makes it easy to pop-in and pick-up our favorite flavors like Hint O’Mint, Honey-Lemon and White Peach!
