Living: The Return Of Chef Daniel Boulud's Pop-up, Boulud Sud

Chef Daniel Boulud and Palm Beach Lately’s Lilly Leas
This summer, Palm Beach Lately is thrilled for the return of Chef Daniel Boulud’s popular Manhattan-based Boulud Sud that will operate as a stand-alone restaurant on Café Boulud‘s air-conditioned terrace within the fountain courtyard. The Mediterranean pop-up restaurant debuted last year and was very successful, so they have decided to return from Wednesday, July 3rd through Monday, September 2nd, serving dinner seven days a week.

The Mediterranean region inspired the ambiance of the restaurant and the décor consists of olive trees, terracotta pots of herbs, topiaries, lanterns and tagines to channel the “Sud” (“Sud” translates to “South” in English). We had the pleasure of being one of the first to sample the menu and have a sneak peek for you below!

This year, Café Boulud Palm Beach is celebrating 10 years and Daniel Boulud loves having the opportunity to travel and enjoy the weather in Palm Beach. We asked Daniel Boulud, if he wasn’t in the kitchen where we could find him around Palm Beach. He answered, “I’ve visited the new place at The Breakers (HMF) and enjoyed the level of class. It’s a great atmosphere they’ve created.”
