Last weekend, Beth and I had the pleasure of trying Daniel Boulud’s summer pop-up restaurant, Boulud Sud, at The Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club. Daniel Boulud and The Brazilian Court are two of our favorites, so we knew we were in for a treat! Tucked in the cozy indoor space overlooking the terrace, the temporary restaurant features an eclectic tasting from the Mediterranean region with “bright, bold and sunny flavors”. We enjoyed their strawberry mojito and watermelon specialty drink, a sampling of their small plates, including flatbread, fried artichokes and lemon-saffron linguini with clams, as well as dessert. It was no surprise that everything was prepared and presented with impeccable taste!
The Mediterranean summer pop-up will be offered on an a la carte menu at dinner only seven days a week from 5:30 to 10:00 pm through September 2, 2012. Enjoy a four-course prix fixe menu for $35 (beverage, tax and gratuity not included) served at dinner on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
